Each Christmas Forum partners with local and national organizations to provide a little extra help to those in need. Our upcoming Christmas series will focus on imagining a world with enough warmth, food, and water. For three Sundays in December we are going to partner with the Voluntary Action Center (warmth), The Food Bank (food), and LifeWater (water).

December 10

We will be collecting in the lobby:

  1. New coats of all sizes from infant to adult (unwrapped with no hangers)
  2. New warm blankets (unwrapped)

December 17

We will be collecting the following food items in the lobby (please have items in a bag):

  • Boxed Meal Helpers
  • Canned Fruit
  • Canned Meat
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Cereal
  • Peanut Butter
  • Rice
  • Soup

December 17

We invite you to give above your regular tithes and offerings to bring clean water, sanitation and Gospel hope to unreached places. Donations can be made through our Forum Christian Church app or by a special envelope found in the December 17 bulletin.

The Voluntary Action Center helps low-income individuals and families bridge the gaps between crisis and stability and improve quality of life in Boone County.

The Food Bank works with 140 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other agencies to ensure food gets into the hands of those who need it most. They are the only food bank in the state to provide that food at no charge to other organizations.

Every 60 seconds a child dies from preventable water-borne diseases. Lifewater is a Christian clean water organization working to end the global water and sanitation crisis.
