THEN
We haven't always been Forum Christian Church. We began as Westside Christian Church in 1954 as an evangelistic gathering in the Home Arts Building on the Boone County Fairgrounds on Clinkscales Ave. Today the ARC is located in that area. The fairgrounds were home to the emerging congregation for over four years. In 1958, Westside Christian Church moved to 1108 West Ash (the current home of the Salvation Army). In 1993, the first service was conducted at 3900 Forum Blvd. our current facility.
NOW
At Forum we describe ourselves as a christ-centered, bible-teaching, Jesus centered, non-denominational church. We are a mosaic of people striving to create a beautiful environment for the glory of God. We are a biblically centered ministry that loves God and strives to connect people to Jesus. Our identity is rooted in Jesus and we express our desire to reflect His life and love through our worship, teaching, and service.
