SPIRITUALLY CURIOUS?

If you’re spiritually curious or just beginning to explore faith, we invite you to start a conversation with us. Our ministers would love to meet with you, hear your questions, and talk through the topics and experiences you’re most interested in—at your pace, with no pressure. Schedule a time to connect, and let’s converse together.

Matthew 18 and 1 Corinthians 5 challenges American individualism that resists accountability, emphasizing that Scripture consistently advocates for believers holding one another accountable to God's standards. Jesus teaches a four-step process for addressing sin within the church: private confrontation, involving witnesses, bringing it before the church, and if necessary, removal from fellowship. The ultimate goal is always restoration, not punishment. Using the example of sexual immorality in the Corinthian church, we see how tolerance of sin leads to normalization, justification, and eventually celebration of sin. However, forgiveness should be as swift as the discipline was severe, and that believers serve as Christ's ambassadors who represent His kingdom with both holiness and grace.
