Walk to the Water

Baptism is a powerful, visual declaration of a brand-new life in Jesus. Whether you’re exploring baptism for yourself or guiding someone you love, we’re excited to walk alongside you.

Baptism isn't just a religious ritual—it is a meaningful milestone on your spiritual journey.
When you go under the water, it symbolizes leaving your past behind, buried with Christ. Coming up out of the water represents rising into a new life made whole through His resurrection. It is an outward expression of an inward transformation, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
A Biblical Tradition: Following the example of Jesus and the early Church, we practice full immersion in water as a public celebration of faith.
A Community Celebration: You aren't taking this step alone; your church family stands with you to encourage and support you in your walk with God.

Baptism for Kids

At Forum, we strive to partner and empower parents to lead out in their child’s spiritual formation. Download the worksheet below for a few talking points when walking alongside your child to take the step of baptism. How quickly you go through each of them and what next steps you take are up to you all! When you decide he/she is ready, we will be ready to celebrate and come alongside you! Is your child ready to take the step to be baptized? Reach out to Rochelle Gerdts with any questions.
